Job Outlook & Careers

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, radiography employment is projected to grow faster than average, and job opportunities are expected to be favorable. While hospitals remain the primary employer, a number of new jobs will be found in physicians’ offices and diagnostic imaging centers.

The majority of students are able to find employment in the field prior to or soon after graduation. Employment is expected to grow "faster than normal" with an incrase of 50,000 jobs by 2016 due to the aging population and increased demand for diagnostic imaging.
