Laramie County Community College provides a full-service personal counseling center
with direct and indirect services to students.
Our counseling center provides support in helping students and the campus community
balance intellectual, emotional, interpersonal and developmental needs. We provide
preventative, remedial, and developmental intervention through counseling, crisis
intervention, workshops, teaching, outreach, consultation and community referrals.
All currently enrolled LCCC students are eligible for FREE counseling services, if
they so desire, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, handicap, race, religion, sexual
orientation or progress toward academic degree. LCCC is a safe zone for all students

Services are provided through developmental, preventive and remedial modes of intervention.
All services are free to currently enrolled students on a short-term basis. Most problems
are resolved within six sessions or less. Students needing extensive and/or long-term
counseling will be referred to the community's support agencies. Services include:

- Psychological assessments
This club helps women empower women by creating a supportive environment, giving words
of encouragement and exploring who they are in a fun environment. Activities change
each week and may include crafts, pilates, Instagram challenge, Zumba, scavenger hunt,
melted crayon art, yoga, nutrition and chef, journal in a jar, galaxy slime, mason
jars, community service projects and more.

DV8 is a group that focuses on stress relief through exercise, entertainment and social
interaction. The whole idea is to have fun. All currently enrolled students are welcome.
