Diesel Technology Scholarships

All scholarships listed here require applicants to complete the LCCC Donor Scholarship Application.

This application needs to be completed only once per year.

• Earl Edington Diesel Mechanic Scholarship - Available to students majoring in Diesel Technology. Student will demonstrate financial need and shall maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
• Vance F. Elrod – The Will to Achieve - Available to students pursuing a degree in Automotive Body Repair, Automotive Technology, or Diesel Technology. The student shall attend the main Cheyenne campus.
• Halladay Motors Scholarship - Students shall attend LCCC as full-time students and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.
• NAPA Auto Parts of Cheyenne Diesel Technology Scholarship - Available to students enrolled in the auto diesel program and attending LCCC as full-time students. Students shall maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Submit with application a brief narrative explaining financial circumstances.
• VanWhy Family Scholarship - Available to students enrolled in the diesel technology program. Students must attend LCCC as full-time students maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor. Submit with this application a brief narrative of your financial circumstances.
• Veteran’s Auto Scholarship - Available to Wyoming residents attending LCCC as full-time students. Students shall be enrolled in the diesel technology program. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor. Submit with this application a brief narrative of your financial circumstances.  

The following scholarships also require an additional application.

• Union Pacific Diesel Technology Scholarship (pdf) - Available to Wyoming residents enrolled in the diesel technology program. Students must attend LCCC as full-time students and shall maintain a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.
